Getac S400

The new Getac S400 was just released by Getac Inc. a manufacturer specialized in rugged computers. This 14 inch semi-rugged notebook packs a punch support both the Intel i3 processor and Intel i5 processor. The screen produces 700 NITS featuring a multitouch display that is glove friendly and water resistant. While the keyboard is also water resistant the keys are backlit making them easy to see in dark environment; behind that keyboard the S400 supported by Getac’s new KryptoShell™ body material. This body material gives this notebooks capabilities to surpass MIL-STD-810G temperature, shock, vibration specifications including a 2.5 foot drop on six faces.

The notebooks mounting ports are also located in the rear making it easily mounted inside a vehicle and reduces the clutter of wires that can crowd the driver and passengers.
