The Getac B300 Notebook is a fully rugged computer aiming to cater to the needs of a more demanding user e.g., the military, police or remote research companies etc where there is a chance that a regular notebook would be destroyed by their rugged daily activities.

The Getac B300 Notebook has an Intel Core 2 Duo L7500 processor having 2.0GHz and 4MB L3 Cache with an optional 1200 NIT touch screen and integrated GPS as optional units plus a 3G WWAN inside an ultra rugged chassis. This Getac B300 Notebook greatly holds up to the extraordinary activities.

The Getac B300 Notebook has a lot to offer. Apart from an aesthetic and elegant design, this rugged computer is highly suitable for outdoor use. Though it is for rugged use, but it is a compact piece weighing only 7.7 pounds.

Though it has a very powerful processor, but it does not require a fan for its cooling as it uses heat piping system which functions very quietly and does not warm up a lot.

One of the great features of the Getac B300 Notebook is the 13.3 inches LCD screen. Under normal conditions, you can use its standard feature of transmissive LCD having some coating for outdoor visibility. But when in outdoor, you can make the display brighter by using the super-intense optional backlight of 1,200 nits by just pushing a button. You can turn it on and off as per your needs.

The Getac B300 Notebook provides great protection against water and dust but all ports need to be covered. This rugged computer is designed so efficiently that it can survive any kind of harsh condition.
