Sterilized, Bloodied and Drowned at EMS Expo

Visit us at the EMS Expo 2011A headline like the above would usually draw some strange looks. But for Rugged Notebooks and the thousands of emergency medical services (EMS) professionals gathering in Dallas next week for the EMS Expo 2011, we barely blink an eye.

That’s because these are the very elements EMS professionals encounter in their jobs everyday. Rugged Notebooks understands that they need a tablet PC that keeps working in these harsh elements as well. We’ll be proving we can meet those needs beyond a shadow of a doubt during the show.

In an emergency, a working computer can be as important to saving lives as medical equipment and medicine. That’s why I want to personally invite all EMS Expo attendees to come to our booth #1137 on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 1:30 or 3:30 p.m. That’s when we will subject Rugged Notebook’s new ultra-tough RNB T10 tablet computer to a real-life simulation that goes beyond anything you’ve seen before. It will be doused with blood (simulated), sterilized with alcohol, and submerged in water… then powered up to prove it still works.

No other tablet computer can withstand the kind of exposure that is likely to happen in the public safety field. This demo will show that the RNB T10 tablet is tough enough to go where no tablet has gone before. If you come to either demonstration, you will also be eligible to win a $50 American Express gift card.

If that’s not enough enticement, Rugged Notebooks, together with our sister company Toughbook Depot, will also unveil our full line of semi and fully rugged portable computers including the RNB Eagle with built in biometrics, refurbished Panasonic Toughbook laptops and more.

We look forward to seeing you at the show!
