In case you hadn’t noticed, in addition to offering our own Eagle brand series of rugged notebooks as well as new rugged products from other major brands, we also offer pre-owned and refurbished Panasonic Toughbooks from our Toughbook Depot site.

We introduced Toughbook Depot last year as part of Rugged Notebooks' mission to be your full-service, one-stop shop for all your rugged portable computing needs, offering savings as high as 75 percent on factory-authorized refurbished Panasonic Toughbook computers. We just re-launched an enhanced version of the site this week, with more intuitive navigation, an attractive, easy-to-read layout, and more Panasonic Toughbook products and accessories than ever.

With both the public and private sectors facing budget cuts, many are turning to the affordable alternative of refurbished notebooks.  Our refurbished Panasonic Toughbooks are from one to five years old and have undergone a complete reconditioning. Each hard drive is then thoroughly wiped and data sanitized in accordance with DOD Compliance Standard 5220.22-M.

Most of Toughbook Depot’s line of refurbished Toughbook products come with a standard one-year warranty. Customers can purchase up to three years of warranty coverage and an optional “No Fault” warranty, providing a no risk approach to owning a refurbished Toughbook laptop.
